The Classes of 1970, 71 & 72 reunited on Friday 21st October 2022 for a 50-year reunion.
Ten classmates reunited at the school for a morning tea, where they met Girton Principal, Dr O’Rielly. This was followed by a school tour with Head of Junior School, Mr Don Thompson, where there was much laughter as old tales from school were re-lived and friendships rekindled.
These lovely Old Girtonians were then farewelled as they joined others at the Wine Bank for lunch.
Special thanks to Cheryl Payne who arrived with a suitcase full of memorabilia which was very generously donated to the OGA archives. A special mention must go to Faye who arrived in her old school uniform much to the delight of her old schoolmates.
