2014 OGA Reunion Dinner a Wonderful Night
The recent OGA dinner at Chateau Dore in Mandurang was a wonderful celebration of 100 years of continuous service by the OGA.
Guests were entertained by The Babel Brothers, a band made up of current Girton students who played a huge array of music to suit all tastes. A beautiful cake was ceremoniously cut by the current OGA President, Samantha Cordell and Beryl Adcock, who was the longest standing OGA member at the event and a great contributor to the Association through the 50’s and 60’s. MC, Graham Crickmore, kept the crowd entertained with a table quiz and raffle prizes while current Headmaster, Matthew Maruff, spoke of the achievements of the OGA over the last 100 years. Mr Maruff also announced that the OGA would pursue heritage listing for the old peppercorn tree in Junior School, which has much sentimental value for all past Girton students.
