Progress on sorting through and organising documents, photos and memorabilia from the School’s 130 year history, continues in earnest in Girton House, with a group of dedicated Community Service students giving up their time twice a week to assist the Old Girtonians’ Association.

Under the guidance of Mr Clayton Jones, the students have nearly completed putting documents into chronological order and are now doing the same with photos.

Many photos are not dated, so thanks to the invaluable support and excellent memory of Mr Jones, the students have been able to put the photos in their proper place.

The aim is to have archiving complete by October this year, when the OGA plans to conduct a reunion for past students of “The Jean d’Helen Years” in Girton House.

The OGA is always keen to receive original School documents – such as reports, photos and memorabilia – to add to our collection. If you, or a relative, have these but no longer wish to keep them, the OGA will gratefully receive them.
