The Old Girtonians’ Association recently celebrated Girton Grammar School’s 30-year milestone with a special reunion event on Saturday, June 3rd.
Current and past staff and board members, friends of Girton, founders, and alumni gathered at St. Anne’s Winery for an afternoon of reminiscing and reconnecting. For those who wanted to relive their days at Girton, a tour led by Mrs Viv Bath was available in the morning, where many stories and memories were shared.
Over the last three decades, our school community has flourished, forming strong relationships and making meaningful contributions to Girton Grammar. Academic and co-curricular achievements have always been a priority, but the connections and friendships formed have been just as essential, with many lasting a lifetime.
During the event, Dr Emma O’Rielly, delivered a touching address in which she contemplated the journey that had brought us together. She expressed her great pride and gratitude for the strides and accomplishments that Girton has achieved in the past thirty years.
The occasion allowed for friendships to be rekindled, memories to be relived and new connections to be forged, strengthening the bonds of our Girton family.
