The class of 1999 enjoyed a night of fun and friendship on Saturday 4th May 2019 at the Winebank on View Street. This group of Old Girtonians are doing all manner of wonderful things, from running businesses and having families to travel and study. There are some profound connections to the school in this group, including a Great Grandmother who was amongst the first ever students at the school and in the same family, a father who was one of the first boys enrolled at Girton College. Another guest has a Grandmother who was Dux of the School and two Old Girtonians who saw each other in a new light in Year 12 are now married!

Some of the career paths of this dynamic group include; Business Development for an overseas insurance agency; Communications with the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal; Army Lawyer, now Lawyer with the City of Greater Bendigo; Hedgefund Manager; Builder; Australian fashion business owner and head of HR for a global manufacturer;  Real Estate agent; student of Law, and more.
